Accreditations & Certifications

Kama'aina Kids is licensed by the State of Hawaii as a Child Care Provider.

Kama‘aina Kids programs are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), National Early Childhood Program Accreditation (NECPA), and the American Camping Association (ACA). We are members of the National AfterSchool Association (NAA) and the Hawaii Visitor’s and Convention Bureau (HVCB).

Kama‘aina Kids' staff undergo American Red Cross First Aid and CPR certification in addition to a thorough background check. We require and provide extensive training in safety procedures, risk management, and child development skills.
