All parents/guardians are asked to submit proof of eligibility with the A+ Application.
Parents/Guardians will be asked to upload the appropriate documentation when completing the online A+ Application. Anyone listed on the registration form as a parent/guardian must provide the documents, whether same or separate households. Please prepare your documents in advance to upload or submit with the application. Failure to include proper documentation will delay the submittal of your application.
Examples of acceptable documentation include:
Online registration is open for all A+ and Before Care locations for the 2025-2026 School Year starting Monday April 14, 2025 at 4pm. This includes registering for A+, DHS Subsidy, and Before Care (at select sites).
Families that submit their completed A+ registration by 5pm on May 22, 2025 will receive notification of their child’s A+ status for the 2025-2026 SY by May 29, 2025.
Applications will be processed in the order that they are received. Incomplete or late applications could result in your child being waitlisted. A+ Registrations received after 5pm on May 22, 2025, will automatically be added to the waitlist for the 2025- 2026 SY. Status notification for students on the A+ waitlist may not be sent out until after July 16, 2025.
Please note that your child’s registration is the first step in the A+ application process and does not guarantee acceptance into the program. A child is not accepted into the program until the A+ Site Coordinator has reviewed the registration packet and issued a notice of acceptance.
Please note if you are applying for DHS Subsidy, to have your required documentation ready to upload. More information can be found during the online process.
Online Registration is also mobile-friendly so it's easy to use a smartphone, tablet or PC.
IMPORTANT: THIS IS ONLY FOR 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR. If you need to register your child for either April or May 2025, please download the registration packet, complete, and submit directly to the A+ site.
Families that submit their completed A+ registration by 5pm on May 22, 2025 will receive notification of their child’s A+ status for the 2025-2026 SY by May 29, 2025. You can contact the Site Coordinator directly by searching for your location using the below button. Please note after the last day of school this year, Site Coordinators will not be available until they return on June 16, 2024.
A+ Registrations received after 5pm on May 22, 2025, will automatically be added to the waitlist for the 2025- 2026 SY. Status notification for students on the A+ waitlist may not be sent out until after July 16, 2025 when Site Coordinators return from Summer break. This is not intended to create a hardship, but rather to help families plan for all possibilities.
Programs that have a waitlist—solely due to limited staffing—will continue recruitment efforts through the summer months. We are committed to hiring the appropriate number of qualified employees to meet the demand. Our ultimate goal is to accept all students who need afterschool services, provided we have the appropriate space to do so.
If you know people who may be interested in joining our team, we kindly ask that you refer them to our Recruitment Page.
Complete the following forms manually found in the downloadable PDF. Please note registering in-person or via hard copy will delay processing so we highly recommend registering online.

DOE Registration Agreement Form

Submit the forms by returning the packet to your school office. Your A+ Site Coordinator will contact you regarding your status.
For more information, please contact the school's A+ program you are applying for.
All A+ Programs maintain a ratio of 1 adult to 20 children (1:20) staff ratio to meet health and safety regulations. If there are more registrations than staff available to maintain a 1:20 ratio, then a waitlist is initiated. Students are placed on the waitlist in the order that the registrations are received.
Unfortunately, the amount of time a student remains on a waitlist is unpredictable. Acceptance from the waitlist and into the A+ program typically results from a currently enrolled student withdrawing or the hiring of additional staff to accept more students. Families on a waitlist can expect to receive monthly updates on their status from the Site Coordinator of the program which they applied. Notices are typically sent through email or text message.
In certain cases, a waitlist is initiated because an A+ Program has reached the maximum capacity that can be accommodated within the facilities available to the A+ Program. In these instances, acceptance from the waitlist is contingent upon a currently enrolled student withdrawing from the program.
If registering online, you will have the opportunity to apply online. Otherwise, please download and complete the Subsidy Application form if applying for subsidized A+ tuition.
